Welcome Charter Schools,
All charter school must submit Annual Reports through this online portal regardless of authorizer. All four authorizers (Board of Regents CSO, SUNY CSI, NYCDOE, and Buffalo BOE) will access the Annual Reports for the charter schools they authorize directly from the portal.
There are multiple components to the Annual Report, some of which are required of all schools regardless of authorizer and some of which are specific to one or more authorizers. Format spefications and due dates for some components may also vary by authorizer. Please review the 2016-17 Annual Report Guidelines carefully.
All schools must submit the first component of the Annual Report no later than 3:00 p.m. on August 1, 2017 to the New York State Education Department's Charter School Office (CSO) and the school’s charter authorizer through this portal and post the report on the charter school’s website (see New York State Education Law Section 2857(2)). The first component includes basic school information, the school’s progress toward charter goals, fiscal performance data, board of trustee meeting schedule and minutes, and board of trustee membership information (including completed Trustee Financial Disclosure Forms). (The deadline for the submission of SUNY's Accountability Plan Progress Report is due roughly 30 days after the release of State test scores for K-8 schools and September 15 for schools with high school grades.)
All schools must submit the second component of the Annual Report no later than 3:00 p.m. on November 1, 2017. The information submitted in the second component includes audited financial statements. For Regents, NYCDOE, and Buffalo BOE authorized schools, final Progress Toward Charter Goals information must also be submitted by this date.
